Initial charge

fundsnet do not receive any initial commission when you invest, this applies for all lump sum investments, transferring funds to us and each time you make a monthly investment. Also by negotiating special terms with fund managers most have agreed to give up some, or all of their initial charge. This means many funds on our platform will have an initial charge of 0%. On some funds you will see a small initial charge, this is levied by some fund mangers. We are in constant negotiations with each fund manger to reduce this charge to zero.  

Compare this with buying direct from a fund manager – even if you do so online, in many cases you will pay a 5% initial charge. That means that with fundsnet, for every £10,000, you get an ‘extra’ £500 invested for you. (This only applies on the funds with a 0% initial charge, the saving will not be as high on other funds).

Annual charge

Absolutely no “extras”

No annual account fee.

Once you have bought a fund there are no additional charges for using fundsnet. All you pay are the standard charges levied by the fund manager. You can view the annual management charge for each fund by clicking on the graph icons throughout the site to bring up the fact sheet. The charge can then be found on the summary tab.  

We pay you £25.00 for each account that you transfer to us.

We guarantee that by transferring your funds to our platform we will not charge you a penny - if there is an initial charge on the funds you are transferring to we will refund this charge to you. Furthermore - for each account you transfer to us we will pay you £25.00.

Sound too good to be true - how do we make our money?

Each fund manager pays us a proportion of the annual management charge (A.M.C.) that is taken from each fund. For example: If a fund managers A.M.C. is 1.5% per annum, the fund manager would pay fundsnet a proportion of this charge. That is all we get paid!
